Legend of Horus offers a visually impressive take on the ancient Egyptian civilization, as it takes you on an adventurous journey to discover the lost treasures left by the almighty Horus in the hidden temple. The haunting soundtrack perfectly suits the theme, adding to the occult vibe, which can be felt at various stages throughout the game. 

Legend of Horus: Gameplay and Features

Across the reels, you’ll find nine symbols, with high-paying ones being the female explorer, pharaohs, ankhs, and scarabs. The lowest payouts come from five-card symbols, tens to aces. The book icon acts as a wild and substitutes all other symbols to create additional winning combinations. To form a winning combo, you need to land matching symbols on the reels from left to right on an active payline. 

Central to the game are the free spins, which are triggered when you land three or more books. Once you activate the feature game, you’ll be prompted to the bonus screen with three pyramids. Each of them will uncover a random number of free spins, and you can unlock 8, 10, or 12 spins. These can be retriggered during the bonus mode if you manage to hit three or more books. Additionally, Horus will unleash the laser beam on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th reel occasionally to reveal the 3rd book symbol.

At the start of the free spins sequence, a randomly selected symbol will transform into the expanding symbol for the entire duration of the round. Each time this symbol appears on the reels, it will expand across an entire reel. Granted, it can only occur when there are enough symbols on the reels to form a winning combination, as per the paytable. For example, you need two or more of the same high-paying symbols to initiate the expanding mode.
